  Merry Christmas 2014

A Wish for Blessings from Christ, from our family to yours.

We all want to wish the best to you for the 2015 year! This past year has been quite busy. A quick summary: The biggest milestone was that Elizabeth graduated from Clear Falls High School! See her pictures below, She finished her dual credit college classes, had a great senior year in Emeralds dance team and the Trebidores performance choir. Hannah had a great year in basket ball until the very last game in which a girls hard fouled her under the basket and she broke her ankle. From a wheel chair, cast, and rehab, and she made it back to try out for the fall season. She made it! See below. Hannah is in her final year of confirmation, is working on a science fair project, and made the region choir.

Jacob showed goats at the Galveston County Fair (see below), and is loving choir. He is great help on the land, hauling feed and filling the water for the cows, horses, and goats. Hannah and Jacob will show heifers at the next fair and we are starting to halter train her new heifer. John Welch continues to work at the Aquarium and hang out with his gaming friends.

Michelle remains at the VA DeBakey Medical Center in the Post Deployment Clinic, serving veterans coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan. John is working on heart disease and investigating mechanisms in Cholera at the University of Houston. He is also spending more time traveling to North Dakota to work on the family farm.

Both Grandpa and Grandma Craft and Grandma Hively were able to come and visit our family! What a blessing!

Best Wishes for the Holidays,

The Crafts

  Hannah's Back!
Hannah is back in basket ball after working on her rehab from the broken ankle at the end of last year's season! She had made remarkable progress, though her feet still hurt some as she tries to get use to the new inserts the podiatrist gave her. Interestingly, it is her other foot the hurts the most as the inserts lift her ankles up and rotates the pressure point on the ball of her feet. She has very flat feet, so we have been trying different shows to get the right support. She made a few baskets, got some great blocks, and pulled down a lot of rebounds. Go Hannah!
