Jacob Andrew in Here!
Last night at 7:04 PM Jacob Andrew was delivered at the Clear Lake Regional Medical Center. He came via C-section and weighed seven pounds and eight ounces (7 lb 8 oz) and was twenty inches long (20 in). Mom did great through the whole process! This is our fourth child and despite having done this before (though the C-section was new) we have both been more anxious with Jacob. We named him the day before Easter as soon as we had confirmation. This experience led me to Psalm 139, the whole thing is great but especially starting in verse 13.
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful. I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."
God is great and we are blessed!
