Rita Bypass
Well, we just pulled into Groesbeck. There is a state park called Fort Parker and I herd that the fort was a good place to see, so that is our next stop. I will let the kids go swim and give frank some water and some running room.

Avoided Rita!
I just wanted to say that we are all fine. We left thursday after the traffic (local) let up and then we went via the back county roads to aviod the jam on I45 (lots of stranded cars, people with no gas etc....) Elizabeth blogged on it on a Ray of Sun Shine, ... anyway we were fortunate to have planned early, fueled the truck, took all the wedding photos,etc, special letters, etc and turned off the water. Then it was just a waiting game until I made the call that our back route would look good. Michelle's school left six hours before me and I still beat them by an hour. She had to travel with them to help the students. Take care and I will call when I get back to my house.
