Lots of Damage Nearby from Hurricane Ike

Well we still have no power, but the weather is cool. We are one mile from clear lake and three miles from kemah / seaabrook. I have only seen a little news but that 1 mile made all the difference as you can see on the news/internet. I pray for all the people that lost everything. Our neigbor is letting friends use their house because they had evacuated to Austin, and the friends could not get into seabrook. We have helped neigbors cut up trees, etc but otherwise have tried to stay out of officials way.
