PDA Net on a Moto Q9C / Sprint and MacBook OS 10.5

I am trying to get PDAnet to work with my MacBook / OS10.5 in the Bluetooth DUN mode described (because I did not want to spend the time to write a hack). I have used the instructions from http://avidauthority.com as described in the link. I have a MotoQ9C.

I was trying PDAnet with my Moto Q and Sprint and got the following behavior

The connection appeared to exist between the phone and the mac (OS X10.5)
but no web access or ping / ssh from the terminal was available.
The green light said that the bluetooth was connected but I could get no response

This is was ping said:
ping statistics ---
4 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100% packet loss

Do you have any ideas?
...
Well PDAnet does not yet seem to work, but since I installed it on my MotoQ yesterday my 2Gb SD card is "not available". It shows the icon that it is in the slot, but none of my stuff is visible and the memory manager can't even tell me any statistics. No other changes have happened on my phone (and I have had the card since Christmas 2007) so I know that it is PDAnet which caused the problem.

I would like to see if I can resolve these problems, but if not: I need to uninstall PDAnet and restore the correct function of my phone (without a hard boot / wipe and load!)

I do have a second MotoQ that I could copy and XML/registery files that PDAnet corrupted on my phone from that one to this one if I knew which files might have been modified/corrupted.

A Hopeful User
