A Snowman Came for Christmas
We were able to roll some large snow balls to build Frosty. This is a first since I have come to southern Texas. We have had a few flurries and some sleet, but nothing like this. I wish we would get a couple days like this every year, especially if it could be arranged to come Christmas Eve! Recently, we have only been making it back to North Dakota in the summer and so missed the frozen days at minus 48 degrees true temps that I can remember from when I was a kid. On the other hand I didn't have to go out and feed the cattle either.
As Frosty the Snowman took final form, he was recruited to rake the leaves and do some other yard work. But it seems that Frosty misunderstood the directions given by Elizabeth and instead rolled around and those leaves got stuck under his snow coat!
This was a great Christmas to have so much snow. Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
